A Different Kind of December: Christmas on the Beach

Christmas on the Shore: A Holiday Wrapped in Sunlight There’s something quietly rebellious about spending Christmas on the beach. While the rest of the world pulls on wool sweaters, warms their hands around mugs of spiced cider, and braces for winter’s bite, you’re standing barefoot in warm sand, with the sun painting everything in gold. The ocean murmurs in the background like an easygoing caroler who only knows one verse but hums it proudly. Christmas ornaments sparkle in palm trees instead of pines. And the only frost you’ll see is the faint mist on the rim of a cold drink pulled from an ice chest. For many people, Christmas is tied tightly to a sense of tradition. Snow. Fireplaces. Cozy nights. A sense of retreat from the cold. I grew up with that version, too. But the first time I celebrated Christmas on the beach, everything I thought I knew about the holiday rearranged itself. Galatasaray making sure Victor Osimhen stay for another season.

Galatasaray have reportedly outlined specific conditions in a bid to persuade Napoli striker Victor Osimhen to remain with the club on a permanent basis this summer.

According to Galatasaray reporter Mehmet Özcan, the Turkish champions are actively trying to convince the Nigeria international to extend his stay with them for at least one more season.

Speaking on A Spor via habersarikirmizi, Özcan said: “Galatasaray is forcing the conditions for Osimhen like this.  They are saying, ‘Stay with us for one more season’.  "Be in the Champions League, play in your rhythm, don't lose your value, go to the team you dream of, and let us write a release clause for you so that we don't block your path," they are saying.

He added: “Okan Buruk is in constant communication with Osimhen.  There is also the possibility of Osimhen’s situation being postponed until August.

“When Osimhen left Istanbul, he said ‘I want to play in the Premier League’.”

Osimhen, 26, is yet to make a final decision regarding his next destination, following the conclusion of his loan spell with Galatasaray some weeks ago.

The Super Eagles striker is expected to leave Napoli this summer, with several clubs reportedly interested in acquiring his services, including Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal.
