Rotherham United’s coaching staff has praised Nigerian striker Peter Odemwingie after he left the club following a short spell, describing him as “one great human being” and saying he would remain in touch with him for life. The emotional reaction came after Odemwingie ended his time at the Championship club just a few months after joining. Odemwingie joined Rotherham United on a short-term deal as he looked to regain fitness and secure regular playing time. However, his stay was brief, lasting only about three months before both parties decided to part ways. The former Super Eagles forward, known for his pace and experience in the Premier League, had been brought in to strengthen the squad during a difficult period. Rotherham caretaker manager Paul Warne spoke warmly about the Nigerian striker, making it clear there was no bad blood over his departure.
